West Chiltington Rural Preservation Society Coffee Morning Speakers

The intent here is to list all the early days Speakers and Topics for later generations to perhaps follow up and re-run the talk to a latest date position.

Obviously “Time and Tide will have had there affect on the early day Speakers. However the Topics remain constant In some cases the handwritten work has been hard to decipher.  Best endeavours have been used and question marks used on some items where it really is a problem. (The data is contained in a “Blue Hard Cover File” – entitled – “Speakers Pre 1996 – Parish Mag. Copy” - Anyone may review the original files – The files contain what seem to be all the original correspondence and will give a good clue as to who or what to contact to set up a visit.

Please contact Barry Wright – at - This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it for  the file) Within the Blue Book there is a “Civic Trust list of Speakers and Topics and their contact data” – Perhaps a new copy could be obtained to modernise the speaker lists and see what’s available. There is however, an annual fee for registration. The www. route may also prove useful.

We also have copy of the Pulborough Society Speakers List by - Month/ Year/ Topic/ Speakers Name covering 1973 through to 1991

Refer the Blue Book noted above You will also note the late 1990’s are somewhat short of speaker data.  If any are found please use the contact data as above.
